Steve TraynorAfter 20 years working in Local Government Human Resources, in 2006 I decided to start my own business to provide HR Consultancy in my area of expertise. I have specialised, most recently, on delivering complete packages of job evaluation implementation using the GLPC scheme and the NJC Scheme.

The package includes; training managers and employees as panellists, presentations to all employees within the organisation, managing the evaluation process through to moderation and final results, providing a bespoke database for calculating financial outcomes, negotiations with Trade Unions, Equality Impact Assessments, final report to management teams and full Council/Cabinet.

I have completed contracts for Ribble Valley Council, Fylde Council, Chorley Council, Hyndburn Council and  Hyndburn Homes Housing Association providing affordable outcomes which are acceptable to the employers and the staff. I am currently engaged in similar contracts with Banbridge Council and Armagh City County in Northern Ireland, as well as West Lancs Council and Wakefield Grammar School Foundation.

I also deliver generalist HR Consultancy on a range of issues including recruitment support and employee relations.  Recent contracts have been with Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service and Contour Housing Association.
